Gainsborough Aegir leisure riders out in good numbers

Gainsborough Aegir Cycling Club Sunday ride was over a distance of 23 or 50 miles.

Departing Gainsborough the riders headed to Lea and progressed through Knaith Park, Willingham by Stow and Stow. At Sturton by Stow the group divided into two groups.

The riders took in Saxilby, Brampton, Broadholme, Thorney, South and North Clifton.

After passing under The Dukeries Trail the riders joined the A1133 heading to Newton on Trent, before going through Dunham Bridge, Dunham on Trent, Ragnall and Fledborough.

The riders also went through Skegby, Tuxford and East Markham. They then headed along the National Byway cycle route through Askham, Upton, Headon and Tresswell.

The return home featured South & North Leverton, Sturton le Steeple and Bole.
