Andy Lewin takes time trial honours for Aegir Cycling Club

It gave him the win by 22 seconds over Phil Burton.

Andrew Janney was third in 24 minutes 37 seconds, followed by Neil Winter, 25 minutes 04 seconds, Stephen Cockerham, 27 minutes 16 seconds, David Lewin, 27 minutes 46 seconds, Ian Thorpe, 28 minutes 37 seconds, Charlie Thorpe, 29 minutes 05 seconds (Juvenile), Dave Bedford, 29 minutes 46 seconds, and Oliver Thorpe, 30 minutes 12 seconds (Juvenile).

The course started at Knaith, out through Marton to the turn at Torksey before making the return trip through Marton, finishing at China Bridge Lea.The event was popular the weather was fine with strong south wind making it a hard but fast race.The Jack Doncaster Trophy Race 15 mile Time Trial takes place on August 12 – meet Laughton Lane at 6.15pm, first rider off at 6.30pm.On Wednesday 19th August the Reg Booth Trophy Race 10 mile Time Trial takes place.
