Andy Lewin wins Gainsborough Aegir's time trial

He clocked 11 minutes 50 seconds to beat Andrew Janney (12 minutes 19 seconds) and David Lewin (12 minutes 47 seconds).

The race started on Carr Lane towards East Stockwith and Walkerith, heading to Morton.

It was then a sprint along into a head wind along Laughton Lane to finish at the junction with Carr Lane.

Riders enjoyed a 60 mile leisure ride at the weekend.

Departing Roseway in Gainsborough Town Centre the riders headed north through Laughton Woods to East Ferry then headed along the side of the River Trent to Gunness.

The ride then took in Flixborough, Burton upon Stather, and Alkborough, before returning home alongside the River Trent to arrive in Morton returning into Gainsborough.
