Balfe Motorsport is set for its busiest British GT Championship meeting of the season as it fields three McLarens across both GT3 and GT4 at Donington Park this weekend.

Looking to bounce back after a puncture curtailed their efforts at Brands Hatch will be Pro-Am pairing Mia Flewitt and Euan Hankey in their McLaren 570S GT4, after the duo finished a superb second overall in GT4 at the circuit back in August.

Joining them in class will be Jan Klingelnberg, making his series debut, and 2012 GT4 champion Warren Hughes, also in a 570S GT4.

The pair have worked together in the Pure McLaren GT Series, raced to success in the GT Cup Championship at Silverstone in August, and will now be relishing a new challenge together.

Rounding out the trio and making a return to the team with their stunning McLaren 720S GT3 are Stewart Proctor and Joe Osborne.

They also enjoyed a strong showing last time at Donington Park, taking pole position for race two as well as finishing fifth overall and third in GT3 Pro-Am.

Things will be different for all three pairings however, as this time out they will be tackling a single, gruelling, three-hour endurance contest around the challenging Leicestershire circuit, where each crew must make at least three driver changes, with no one driver exceeding 100 minutes behind the wheel.

Track action begins today with two one-hour free practice sessions before qualifying at 4pm.

After a 15-minute warm-up on Sunday morning at 9.35am, the race itself will begin at 12.45am, with links to live coverage shared on the team’s official social media channels.
