Dale Broughton defends WAW European title with WWE legend Mick Foley the guest referee
Boston wrestler Dale Broughton defended his WAW European heavyweight title when he defeated Norwich's Ricky Knight at the Gliderdrome last Sunday.
In front of a packed crowd, WWE legend Mick Foley was flown in to referee the match with and fellow superstars Booker T, Billy Gunn and James Storm watching on.
Broughton claimed victory by pinning Knight to retain his title.
Both men were left bleeding from this hard-fought battle, but both remained respectful to one another at the end.
WAW will be returning to Boston in the new year.
