Fenland League victory for Boston Amateur Swimming Club

Boston Amateur Swimming Club started the 2020 Fenland League with a comfortable win at their own pool against old rivals, and now sit on top of the league.

It is disappointing for the club the second round has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak, as it was supposed to be at Peterborough and Boston were eager to try to extend their lead.

Boston swimmers in the nine years category showed promise.

Megan Davies won the 50m freestyle, Charlie Bisby won the 50m breaststroke, Casper Pearson finished third in both his races and Erin Norton also finished third.

Kobi Harwood won three events, the 50m butterfly in both the 11 yers and 12 years section and the 50m breaststroke.

Double race winners were Isobel Manning (100m individual medley, 50m breaststroke), Jacob Turner (50m breaststroke, 50m backstroke), Matteo Monaco (50m butterfly 100m indivuidual medley), Dennis Marcenko (50m freeestyle, 11 and 12 years), Hannah Moray (50m backstroke, 50m free), Bryce Howard (50m backstroke 11 and 12 years), Bradley Holland (50m freestyle, 50m breaststroke).
