Podium spots for para swimmer Connor Boyfield, while Boston ASC youngsters shine at home meet

Boston ASC’s Connor Boyfield competed in the Para National Championships in manchester this week.

He finished second in 200m individual medley and third in 100m breaststroke and butterfly.

Boston Swimming Club were named Top Club and Alfie Bisby won Top Boy award at the recent Boston Open Meet.

Alfi won 12 events, Thomas Bruce 10 and Oscar Goldsmith and Matteo Monaco nine events each. Rico Bringeman won eight events.

Golds were also won by Evan Lewis (50m and 200m fly), Ruben Owen (50m freestyle), Joseph Vickers, Bradley Holland (200m backstroke) and Joel Lewis 100m backstroke.

For the girls, Tegan Harrison won five golds, Samantha Macijauskaite four.

Evie Garrard won the 200m and 400m freestyle and Hannah Morsey won the 400m freestyle.

Isobel Manning and Elizabeth Burt won the 200m breaststroke in their age groups and Emelia Thornley-Payne won the 200m butterfly.
