RIders turn out for Aegir Cycling Club's latest leisure ride

Gainsborough Aegir Cycling club’s Sunday Leisure Ride was a morning 30 mile ride.

The riders departed Roseway in Gainsborough heading out of town to Lea then progressed through Kexby, Upton and Springthorpe to arrive in Corringham.

Departing Corringham the riders headed across country to Northorpe. After passing through Scotton the riders arrived at Scotter.

Departing from Scotter the ride headed along Susworth Road then progressed through Laughton Woods to arrive in Morton, returning into Gainsborough along the riverside cycle path.

The weather was fine with some autumn sunshine but cold with a strong south wind, the woods looked splendid in the autumn sunshine.To take part in this Sunday’s event, Riders must contact Trevor Halstead or Daniel Nicholson at Gainsborough Cycles 20 Ropery Road Gainsborough or telephone 01427 617752 before 5pm Saturday.

The ride will depart Roseway 9.30am the route of the ride is chosen at Roseway before departure. Rider numbers are limited to allow for Cycling UK Coronavirus guide lines.
