Pigeons back from Whitley Bay

Pigeon fanciers basking in the sunshine in their own back gardens were surprised to learn that the weather in North Yorkshire was not fit for the scheduled race from Whitley Bay on Saturday.

The race was postponed until Sunday when, again, sea mist and poor visibility delayed liberation until midday.
