President Grant leads team to win

Six teams turned out to play a 10-hole Texas scramble in the Boston Golf Club's Ladies' section.

The winning trio were Lady President Fran Grant, along with her teammates Kath Yates and Pat Clifton.

They scored a total 36.9 for first spot.

Second place went to Ruth Street, Lynn Worthington and Liz Harris with a score of 38.4.

In the steady and increasing rain, Rob Whitley and Neil Timby took the spoils in the Sunday Texas Pairs medal at Boston Golf Club.

They recorded a superb nett 60.4.

D. Fletcher and S. Clayton were second with 62.6 and third went to G. Willis and P. Kelly, who scored 63.2.
