Each control was worth 10 points, with points deducted for going over the 20 minutes.

Schools arrived throughout the afternoon and after a brief map walk, set off at staggered start times.
The standard was high with many runners scoring 180 points or more.
In the team event both of the top two teams scored an impressive maximum 600 points and were eventually split by their total times.
