The team is no stranger to the car, having fielded it for the past three seasons in the British GT Championship as well as taking a one-two finish at the 2019 Gulf 12 Hours with a pair of the McLarens.

Previously, Balfe Motorsport has scored three overall GT4 victories and 11 Pro-Am wins in three seasons with Graham Johnson, Mike Robinson, Mia Flewitt, Stewart Proctor, and Jan Klingelnberg, who competed alongside Pro driver coaches Michael O’Brien, Euan Hankey, and Warren Hughes.

The McLaren 570S GT4 remains a logical choice for those making their way into GT and endurance racing, especially those progressing from the Pure McLaren GT Series, as demonstrated by Stewart over the past two years.

He has now started competing in a new 720S GT3 alongside Joe Osborne, claiming a Pro-Am podium finish in just his second race in the car.

Balfe Motorsport has testing opportunities available in its McLaren 570S GT4 from November onwards, with warm weather dates planned for clients looking to join the team.

For the 2021 campaign there are full season arrive and drive options in both the British GT Championship and the GT Cup Championship.

As well as the investment in machinery, the team has also expanded its staff, with Sean Bates looking after the operations of the team.

Sean had a successful career in the specialised motor industry, including working for Ferrari for many years successfully running customers in 458 Challenge cars alongside a busy retail operation.
