Robin takes on the 24-hour solo test

Runners tackle the hilly terrain around Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire over a 24-hour period, aiming to complete as many 10k laps as possible from midday Saturday to midday Sunday.

Robin joined fellow Skegness and District RC runners Phil Horton and Steve Collins as solo runners, taking on the challengethemselves instead of being part of relay teams.

All three completed 10 laps, earning bronze pins to prove they had managed the 10k distance.

The route runs up and down hills, around fields and even across lakes.
