Rowers reach Schools Head of River finals

Eight youngsters from Boston Rowing Club competed at the Schools' Head of the River finals at Putney on Friday.

The team completed the course in 22 mins 59 secs.

And although the WJ16 eight crew, coxed by Emma Feerick, finished in the final place in their category, the club felt proud that the youngsters had shown the desire to reach the high standards neccessary to qualify for the event.
