If I was forced to make a choice, the Friday of Royal Ascot would be my favourite day of the five, given that it focuses on fast-improving 3yos.

It is headlined by two corking Group Ones in the Coronation Stakes and the Commonwealth Cup, and supported by a couple of Group Twos in the King Edward VII Stakes and the revamped Queen’s Vase.
