Table topping Boston Rugby Club will resume action in the Midlands 4 East (North) on Saturday.

Ashley Coates’ side currently hold a six-point lead over second-place Meden Vale following a stunning start to the campaign.

The Blue and Whites won their opening 10 fixtures before being held by a draw at Worksop.

A defeat at Lincolnshire rivals Sleaford arrived on December 14.

That was the last time Boston took to the field due to being awarded a walkover victory seven days later as struggling Amber Valley failed to raise a side.

Boston will now turn their attention to gaining revenge over Worksop when they meet at the Princess Royal Sports Arena on Saturday.

It’s top versus bottom and 56 points currently separate the two sides in the standings, with the Blue and Whites eager not to be held up by their opponents a second time after Worksop fought back to secure a 15-15 draw in November.

Kick off at the Boardsides will be at 2.15pm.
