With a number of players unavailable, the back line saw a series of changes with Scupham moving to fly half and Tom Hobbs and Danny Wilson forming a centre partnership. It would take 15 minutes before Boston opened their account when a sliced clearance kick by Worksop on their own try line was pounced upon by centre Wilson.

From this point Boston would score five more tries through Josh Cook, Scupham, Cowern and Deane to enter half time 36 points ahead.

Head coach Ashley Coates emptied the bench to give all replacements game time.

The second half saw five more tries recorded, the first coming via full back Kyle Turley, finishing off a flowing backs move and employing an impressive hand-off.
