Chessum brothers receive England call-ups

Former Sleaford Rugby Club player Ollie Chessum has been named in the England rugby squad for their tour of Australia.

The 21-year-old forward , who helped Leicester Tigers win this season’s Premiership, is part of Eddie Jones’ 36-player squad which landed Down Under last week.

England will face the Wallabies in Perth on Saturday, Brisbane on July 9 and Sydney on July 16.

All games will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Chessum made his England debut against Italy in this year’s Six Nations competition.

Younger brother Lewis Chessum is in the England under 20s squad which will compete in the Six Nations Under-20 Summer Series in Italy.
