Sleaford Rugby Club youngsters had the chance to meet former Leicester Tigers player Freddie Tuilagi at the weekend.

The former Samoa international was in town on Sunday to promote safety in sport and dish out gumshields to the junior players on behalf of Opro.

The firm works closely with Freddie’s brother, the England and British Lions international Manu.

“They were all absolutely buzzing,” said Emma Fletcher, the club’s marketing and communications officer.

Sleaford RFC enjoy a close working relationship with Tuilagi who has previously visited the club to offer tips as part of his training business.
