On the middle course on Sunday they did particularly well, taking seven out of the top eight places.

Middle Course: 1st Eleanor Cooley, 2nd Ryan Wright, 3rd Tom Cooley, 4th Emma Wright, 5th John Cooley, 7th Walter Wright, 8th Jodie Wright .

Long Technical Course: Robert Parkinson 10th, Helen Parkinson 17th.

Elsewhere, five members of the Ridgway family travelled to the limestone fells around Kilnsey.

The next event is at Twycross Woods, near Grantham.
