School sport: St Michael's net tournament spoils

Cordeaux Academy played host to a Primary School High 5 Netball Tournament which attracted 12 teams from five schools.

Members of Cordeaux’s Year 7 and 8 netball team helped run the tournament with scoring, umpiring and timing the games.

The teams were divided into two leagues with each playing five matches, and the two group winners meeting in the final.

Louth schools St Michael’s and Greenwich House came into the final unbeaten, but St Michael’s edged a great final 2-0 with both teams playing brilliantly and giving it their all.

Thanks go to the Cordeaux netball leaders: Freya Plaskitt, Kandi Austen, Beattie Hughes, Alesha Malkinson, Lucy Dodds, Amy Fussey, Chloe Brown, Lottie Smith, Kaela Potter, Emily Billing and Georgia Macdonald who were fantastic and a real credit to Cordeaux Academy.
