Skegness trio claim second spot in East Lindsey bowls event

A team from Skegness finished second at the East Lindsey District Bowls Triples tournament, held at Woodhall Spa.

Brian Kilby, Albert Shepherd and Alan Irvine were beaten by Sleaford trio Harry Spencer, Paul Oke and Terry Ingham at Jubilee Park.

A total of 32 teams and 96 bowlers entered, with the winners pocketing £150 and the runners-up £75.
