Sleaford RFC topple second-placed Belper
Sleaford RFC boosted their hopes of a top four league finish with an excellent win at Belper on Saturday.
The Red and Blacks travelled to Derbyshire in sixth place in Midlands 3 East (North), while the hosts started the day in second, albeit 18 points behind runaway leaders, and champions-elect, Lincoln.

Hide AdBut having pushed Lincoln to the brink in their last match, and succumbed to a single-point defeat, Sleaford this time held their nerve to win a tight match 18-17.
The result lifts them up to fourth ahead of Saturday’s clash with Mansfield at Ruskington Road (kick-off 3pm).
