Snooker league victory for BSC 2

BSC 2 beat BSC 13 5-3 in the Boston Snooker League's Snooker Farm Super League.

Gary Charlton beat Mario Richards and the next three matches saw Danny Newton, Grant Marshall and Lee Ford record draws against Craig Elding, Adam Cartwright and Adam Brackenbury respectively.

BSC 12 and BSC 19 played out a draw. Simon Wood beat Luke Christian, Alan Peck and Robin Alexander drew, Nick Harwood beat Graham Day and Alan Laws and John Neary drew.

BSC 1 stayed top of the league after beating BSC 3 7-1. Bren Bowman, Wayne Dent and Graham Cripsey won, while Sean Swinburn and Neil Hutson drew.

Shodfriars 20 also won 7-1, to put them six points behind BSC 1 with a game in hand. They beat BSC 4 with victories for Daley Richardson, Darren Christian and Tom Hill while Joe Welch and Barry Cox drew.

In the Lincolnshire Handyman Premier League, Cons 2 and Cons 1 played out a draw.

All the matches were drawn with K. Carrington, Gary Middleton, Dale Sawer and Derek Whyler winning and dropping a frame each against Paul Goodacre, Paul Revell, Des Forbes and Paul Tetther respectively.

Top of the table BSC 10 beat Shodfriars 3 5-3. Perry Pagden beat Geoff Snade, Nick Hanson and Colin Woodcock drew, followed by a draw between Rick Ladds and John Vines. The final match was also drawn between Carl Baily and Jim Ely.

BSC 8 recorded a solid win over BSC 11 to keep them in promotion contention. Steve Greensmith beat Steve Sharp, Shaun Dunmore drew with Louis Wong, Adam Norton beat Julian Furnell and Gary Dunmore beat Andy Bush.

BSC 5 kept up their promotion credentials with a 6-2 win over BSC 6 in the Cotts Builders and Contractors Division One. Phil Dawson and Gordon Russell drew, Pete Grooby beat Alan Traynor, Sam Dawson and Paul Argyle drew, Adey Young then beat Mike Deal.

In the Sam Dawson Building Services Division Two, league leaders BSC 15 recorded a win over Cons 3 5-3. The first three matches were drawn before Ian Russell beat Graham Johnson to ensure the win.

West End and Graves Park drew. R. Mason beat Martin Hodgson, C. Mason lost to Ged Hall, M. Woods lost to J. Hodgson, J. Bell then beat J. Clarke.

BSC 14 find themselves second in the league, this week they recorded an emphatic win over BSC 17, succeeding 7-1. Stuart Whitaker beat Paul Leary, Matt Povey and Jim Hartley drew, Ben Wriggleswood beat James Leary and Liam South then beat Jimmy Birtwhistle.
