Freiston bounced back to winning ways as spin twins Abdul Moeed and Ashok Kumar took all 10 wickets to dismiss Moulton for 96.

Freiston batted first and openers Richard Paul and Waseem Ilyas stood steadfast against some accurate bowing from Moulton.

The pair added 54 before Paul was caught at slip for 27.

Ilyas made 37 before he was trapped LBW by Broomfield.

Freiston lost further wickets to the impressive Broomfield and Baker and when Abdul Moeed was caught for 28 there was a danger of the Freiston innings unravelling.

Stewart Kirtley made 23, but it was the eighth wicket partnership between Ashok Kumar (15) and Ollie Booth (21) which ensured Freiston made a competitive total.

Chasing 184, Moulton started well.

Openers Broomfield and Bettinson put on 63 at a healthy run rate, the highest partnership of the day.

Mouton looked in control but the introduction of spin into the attack changed the game.

Moeed dismissed Broomfield for 38 thanks to a sharp catch by Sunil Panjwani.

Kumar then trapped Bettinson LBW for 19, and from that point the Moulton innings subsided.

Moeed (pictured) went on to claim figures of 6-18 as Moulton went from a position of 63-0 to being all out for 96.

Ashok Kumar claimed his best figures of the season taking 4-21, as Freiston’s spinners proved to be the decisive factor.
