Summertime darts action is hotting up

On Friday, July 22 the fifth Pro-Am qualifier will be held at the Ex Service Club.

The Last Man Standing competition will begin at 8pm, and the winner will play with one of eight pros on November 6.

Entry is £2.

The professionals and their event sponsors will be: Colin Osborne (www.thequeensskegness.co.uk), Dean Winstanley (Just Cuts, Skegness), Kyle Anderson (Windys Cafe, Skegness), Chris Mason (William Hill), Wes Newton (Batemans Brewery), James Wilson (Seaview Pub, Skegness), Devon Petersen (Sweep Solutions), Robbie Green (Home Style Outlet), MC John Fowler (DS Trophies).

Other Pro-Am qualifiers will be a Best of Three on August 19 at the Ex Service (8pm), a Last Man Standing on September 23, also at the Ex Service, and October 14’s Last Man Standing.

The Pro-Am will be held on November 6 at the Ex Service (7pm).

The pros will also be playing in the Ex Service Masters in the afternoon of that day, starting at 2pm.

From July 23, two-time and current World Champion Scott Waites will be doing a run of six exhibitions through the county

This will begin on Saturday, July 23 at WMC Skegness, from 8pm and all are welcome.

On Sunday, July 24 he will apear at the Electric Club Grantham, from midday, and tickets for this are selling fast.

On Monday, July 25 Scott will appear at the Bell Hotel in Burgh.

Entry costs £3 and a further £2 to play, with all proceeds going to Lincolnshire Air Ambulance.

The fun doesn’t end there as on Tuesday, July 26 he is at Skegness Liberal and Social Club for a further event, this beginning at 8pm.

Wednesday, July 27 will be the Batemans Visitor Centre appearance, where Scott will be on the oche 8pm.

His hectic week ends on July 28 at Jesters Bar.

Entry will be £3 and Scott will take on Sam Hewson in a return of their famous Lakeside battle.
