Tinsel riders shine bright

Over the festive period Boston Wheelers CC set their members the task of riding 200 miles - and they rose to the Tinsel 200 challenge.

A total of 13 riders took up the call, out of which 10 completed the distance.

Those riders were: Jenny Briley 203.2 miles, Mike Briley 202.9 miles, Kenny Doig 240 miles, Dave Grayson 229.9 miles, Pete Flint 237.7 miles, Alan Sharpe 245.5 miles, Tony Smith 223.1 miles, Debbie Winrow 228.9 miles, Paul Winrow 225.6 miles, Martin White 207 miles.

The Wheelers are now preparing to host their Annual Reliability Ride on Sunday, February 21.

Starting from Kirton, there will be loops of 50 or 30 miles and a 15-mile family loop for anyone interested in taking part.

The event will be an 8.30am sign-on for 9am start.

All comers are welcome and entry costs £6 for non members.
