Darren Aucote then took a 4-0 win over Dave Holland before the same scoreline saw Joby Booth finish well to beat Chris Royal.

A good top-of-the-table clash between Darren Aucote and Dave Hasnip followed, Dave picking off a super 154 finish, but it was Darren who found the winning double in the seventh leg for a big 4-3 win.

Mark Simpson maintained second spot behind Joby after a good 4-1 win over Kev Lenton.

Phil Odlin was the steadier against Chris Royal in the last game of the night and solid finishing from Phil gave hims a big 4-0 win.

In the Pizza Perfection Championship, Paul Taylor picked up a good 3-1 win over Anthony Bennett.
