One of the club’s youngest competitors, Josh, achieved a fantastic second place in the TriStar Start category.

Many of the parents, there to cheer them on, are themselves members of Tri3 Sleaford and were very proud of the effort shown by all the juniors, some of whom were racing for the first time.

Another of the club’s juniors, Olivia, was not at Prestwold, but took part in her very first event at the Glebe House Triathlon at Hunstanton.

The club’s senior triathletes had a busy weekend too with participation in the Lincoln Sportive and Lincoln Time-trial. The club was also represented at the Glebe House Sprint Triathlon, Skegness Sprint Triathlon, the Drycote Water Half Marathon and the Dukeries Ultra 40-mile run event in the heart of Sherwood Forest.
