Trinity U10s back in the winning groove

Gainsborough Trinity remain top of the U10s League as they returned to winning ways with a 10-1 away victory at Blyth.

T. Williams (four), K. Gayle (two), J. Wetherall, B. Booth, T. Stanser and an own goal were the Trinity scorers.

Ordsall Rangers hold on to second place after an 8-4 away win at Forrest Rangers, while Ordsall Terriers defeated Midtown 6-0 to share third spot with Retford Town who defeated Babworth 4-1.

In the U9s League Ordsall Rangers had two wins over the weekend, beating Midtown 10-1 on Saturday and then defeating Marshalls 7-2 on Sunday.

Forrest Rangers drew 3-3 with Ken Ward Sports, D. Walton (two) and N. Wright scoring for Forrest.

In the U8s League Midtown, after many heavy defeats, chalked up their first victory of the season with a 4-3 win at Blyth, A. Clayton (three) and D. Watson the Midtown scorers.

Gainsborough Trinity lost only their second match of the season with a 1-0 defeat at a well organised Retford United, while Ordsall Rangers defeated Marshalls 3-0 at Gainsborough.
