West suffers defeat in national glory bid
Boston Indoor Bowling Club’s Jonathan West suffered double defeat in his bid for national glory.
Competing at Nottingham he played in the two bowl singles and four bowl singles, coming up against tough opposition.
In the two bowl singles he lost to the eventual winner Nick Brett 21-6.
In the four bowl he won his first game 21-19, but fell at the second hurdle 21-5.
