Won it again Sam!

Worksop table tennis star Sam Walker has made it three Junior Masters titles in three years, after an unbeaten weekend at Grantham College.

The teenager finished first in the tournament, winning all of his matches, after flying into the country from Germany on Thursday.

Dad Steve said: “That’s a hat-trick of Junior Masters, and I don’t think that’s ever been done before.”

Walker has recently earned a call up to the senior England squad, for the World Championships in Paris later this year, and reached the semi-final of the English Men’s Singles tournament.

Before the World Championships, he’ll be back in junior action for his country, at the Malta Junior and Cadet Open on 4th April.

The former Redlands and Valley pupil plays the majority of his table tennis in Germany, with professional club TTC Selingenstadt, and he’s the number one ranked junior player in England.
