Young BADAC aces in action
The team were competing at the Meres Leisure Centre in Grantham on Sunday.
In the under 11 girls’ competition, Malena Baxter was outstanding in the standing triple jump.
Her best leap measured 5.56m.

Hide AdThis was eight centimetres better than her nearest rival’s best effort, seeing Malena record a superb victory.
Up against representatives from Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicester & Rutland and Northamptonshire, Malena also recorded 49 in the speed bounce to secure eighth place points for Lincs.
In the under 11 boys’ competition, Matthew Lewis was joint fifth in the chest push, achieving a distance of 6.75m.
He was also ninth in the speed bounce with a total of 48 bounces.

Hide AdHaddley Bedford was 13th in the balance test with a time of 16 seconds.
Alongside Ryan Firth - who was 13th in vertical jump with 37cm - Haddley assisted Lincolnshire in the team competitions and relays.
At under 13 level, Lucy Raywood was seventh in the four-lap race, recording a very respectable 55.6secs before contributing to the county points total through her involvement in the relay.
On Saturday morning, sportshall athletics activity returns to the B-Hive with the next in the series of Boston & District AC junior competitions.
These will be open to under sevens, nines, 11s and 13s boys and girls, beginning at 10am.
