Young West Indian signs for Skegness

Ray Jordan, who has World Cup experience with the West Indies under 19s, will join the seasiders for the start of the 2016 campaign.

And he’ll be put to the test from the word go with a tough opening fixture at champions Bracebridge Heath.

The season’s opener at Cross O Cliff Court will be followed seven days later by the visit of East Lindsey rivals Woodhall Spa to Richmond Drive.

April will be rounded off with a trip to league new boys Nettleham, who have won promotion to the ECB after comfortably winning the Lincolnshire Premier League.

The Nettles will include their own overseas player in their squad in the form of Rhett Bridgens, a South African who has spent the last two summers in the village.

Also returning to the ECB are neighbours Boston from the South Lincs and Border League.

The two sides who slipped out of the league after finishing in the bottom two were Spalding and Market Rasen.
