People across South East Lincolnshire have been encouraged to beat the winter blues with a visit to two outstanding areas of beauty, interest and entertainment.

Boston is well known for its interesting shops, such as those in Pescod Square, where you can browse and grab a bargain, as well as attractions like We’ll Meet Again, Fydell House, The Stump, and Blackfriars Theatre.

Whereas, Skegness is one of the top seaside holiday destinations in the UK, with a host of attractions and amusements suitable for all ages. From the Blue Flag beach boasting its iconic Skegness Pier, to the hustle and bustle of the lively markets and high street, there is so much to do!

From coast to market town, these two great destinations are linked by the Interconnect 57. Also serving Wainfleet, Friskney, Old Leake and Benington, it is an easy and affordable way to get out and about, whatever your plans.

The Interconnect 57 makes travel simple, with buses up to every hour, Monday to Saturday, easy connections between towns and villages, and a £3 capped single fare meaning that you will pay no more than £3 per trip.

Matt Cranwell, Managing Director of Stagecoach East Midlands, which runs the Interconnect 57, said: "Across the region, we are so fortunate to be home to some wonderful places to visit, and Boston and Skegness both have wonderful attractions.

“At this time of year, what could be better than going for a trip around the shops, museums and cafes of Boston or wrapping up warm and heading to Skegness for fresh air, seaside strolls and a change of scenery, without the stress of finding your way there, or the parking when you get there!”
