Resurfacing works scheduled for Cornhill
Lincolnshire County Council is to formally adopt Cornhill and as part of this process the area will undergo resurfacing work on Thursday February 19.
The works are scheduled during school holidays to minimise disruption.
The affected area will see South Street closed from High Street to Buttermarket and Cornhill will be fully closed to vehicles.
Vehicle access to George Court will be prohibited; residents will only be able to access on foot.

No vehicle access across Cornhill will be permitted during the works.
Residents of George Court will be permitted to use the Town Hall car park for the duration of the works, according to council officials.
All vehicles must be removed from the affected area by 5pm Wednesday February 18.
Caistor Town Council says it will install Heras fencing across the Cornhill area to prevent further vehicle movement and access after 5pm on February 18.
Lincolnshire County Council will provide advance letters to residents and install on-site signage.
Residents are advised to ensure vehicles are moved ahead of the deadline and follow all signage and instructions during the closure.
You are asked to share this information with neighbours to avoid disruption.
A Town Council statement added: “We appreciate your cooperation as we carry out these important town centre improvements.”
