Big build up for hit sixties groups' show

Two hugely popular groups from the swinging sixties are appearing in Sleaford for a festival of the decade.

Top touring groups The Love Affair, featuring original lead singer Steve Ellis, and The Foundations, featuring original front man Clem Curtis, will be gracing the stage of The Legionnaires Club in Watergate, Sleaford, on Saturday, July 30.

The Foundations are famous for hit songs such as, Baby Now That I’ve Found You and Build Me Up Buttercup (revived for a new audience in the closing credits of hit Ben Stiller comedy There’s Something About Mary).

The Love Affair are best known for their hit Everlasting Love and are still one of the most popular sixties band touring the circuit.

Most Popular

    Supporting them will be sixties tribute act Cupid’s Inspiration and a sixties disco.

    Dance to the music of the era, with bar and hot food available. This is a ticket only event at £23 each.
