Music from Blues Brothers tribute

Their show will feature such classics as Everybody Needs Somebody, Rawhide, and Gimme Some Lovin’.

A spokesman for the act said: “After wowing sell-out crowds all across the globe and opening the show at the BBC Proms In The Park, now is your chance to see Mike Hyde and Matt Jensen bring the UK’s best Blues Brothers tribute to the historic Gliderdrome.

“So get on your hats and sunglasses and get ready to rock, as Jake and Elwood take you back to Shake A Tailfeather in their Sweet Home Chicago!”

Eight-piece soul band Motor City Vipers will join The Amazing Blues Brothers as a support act.

Tickets are priced at £15 from The Gliderdrome, Burgess Thompson and Richardson, in High Street; Chris Cook Print, in Main Ridge East; The Bakehouse Cafe, in Wide Bargate; and The Black Bull, in Kirton.

Alternatively they can be bought on the door (subject to availability) at £20.
