Sleaford kids make bid for Christmas number one - and challenge you to come up with Tik Tok routine
Chris Clark previously recorded a solo effort called Christmas Number One, then returned with William Alvey Christmas performed by pupils at the school.
This time he has invited youngsters from across the town aged three to 16 to record ‘Christmas Bubble’ and he plans to run a contest to find the best Tik Tok routine to accompany the song.

Tightening pandemic restrictions prevented this, so he teamed up with local Street Star Live studio and invited any children to get involved.
He said: “We would do four weeks of sessions at the studio with temperature checks and cleaning all the equipment between takes in November. but then lockdown number two was announced.
“We only had two days of sessions booked before November 5.”
They rushed as many children as possible through the studio, allowing just an hour per child. “I sang it to them and they sang it back to me,” said Chris. “I got them shaking bells, stamping feet, beating drums and clapping hands, as well as filming them on ‘green screen’. It sounds amazing. I don’t know how we managed it.

It will be released on download platforms from December 4, with its own video of the choir, called Staysafe.
Chris said: “It has a very positive message and the lyrics are very current. I would love to get the song in the charts somehow.”
Updates will be on the dedicated Facebook page, ‘Sleaford’s Official Christmas Song 2020’.
