The Band are now in their 24th year and have written four Christmas songs across their seven albums. The latest, ‘My Vision Of Angel – Happy Christmas’ will be played this year on various radio stations including the BBC.

Said lead vocalist Julie Mclelland: “The videos are very much ‘homespun’ as we are in lockdown like everyone else and not really knowing when we might be able to play live again.

“Our last show was at The Guildhall Theatre, Grantham on March 14 and then all of our St Patrick’s dates for 2020 were cancelled. On the Christmas videos singer/songwriter Jock is just having fun and enjoying the music and we are really pleased to bring some Christmas cheer.”

The Band have played in venues all over the country and have over 20,00 live gigs as part of their history including their own night at The London Palladium.

At Christmas time they always play in town on the Saturday before Christmas with a free gig at The Barge and Bottle.

Julie said: “Our Christmas gig means a lot to all of us, it brings friends, family and fans of BFCH from all over the country together, but we know this year it will not be the same. There is a chance that we may be able to do a scaled down version, but of course that decision is not in our hands at the moment.

“We will do whatever the government advises is safe.”
