“An amazing experience for our young people; creating life-long memories. They had a tremendous time and I do feel that experiences such as these give them many transferable life-skills including independence, hard-work, determination, team-spirit and ambition to succeed. They also allow them to see other outstanding talent, make new friends and see new places.”

Rawthentic got through to the semi finals and Eclipse got through to the finals.

Kim added: “The final was tense and we were all ecstatic when Eclipse were placed 5th in Europe. Such an achievement for a small bunch of local young people.

“We are always looking for more young people to join us, we have received Arts Council Funding for this year and have been working with some amazing artists including The SoulMavericks; a prestigious international Breakin’ Crew, 2Faced dance Company from London, Zoo Nation’s Gavin Vincent plus many more. We were also selected as one of the top ten youth dance groups in the North of England in April to perform as part of Fresh, a national youth dance competition.
