Honorary secretary Sheena Gordon said plaques will be awarded by the Trust for projects that measure up to the criteria. In cases of buildings unsuitable for plaques, such as churches, certificates will be awarded. Smaller projects may also be considered to receive a letter of commendation.

The scheme is open to completed new buildings, extensions and remodelling projects in the core area of Sleaford, Holdingham and Quarrington and in the immediately surrounding parishes. The Trust recognises that quite modest and inexpensive improvements can make a significant contribution to the area.

Last year’s winner was the project to provide toilets in St Denys’ Church.

Projects must have been completed since the 2014 awards and nominations should be submitted by letter, giving as much relevant detail as possible and offering evidence in support, to Sheena Gordon at: 7 The Pines, Boston Road, Sleaford, Lincs, NG34 7DN.
