Sweet Appalachian sound at Belchford

Old time, Bluegrass music will fill St Peter and St Paul's church at Belchford later this month as part of the Rural Touring scheme.

Hailing from the very heart of the USA’s Blue Ridge Mountains, The Locust Honey String Band will be in concert at the church on Friday February 26 at 7.30pm.

Chloe, Meredith and Grace perform on fiddles, open-back and resonator banjos, acoustic and resonator guitars and upright bass.

Their arrangements showcase their vintage sound and three-part harmonies.

Their 2014 recording of ‘Never Let Me Cross Your Mind’ topped the folk music charts for four months.
