Trio of big names sign up for acoustic festival

Richard Hawley, Gaz Coombes and Ben Ottewell are the first names to sign up to perform at northern Lincolnshire's newest acoustic music festival.

Northern Sky will take place at The Baths Hall in Scunthorpe over the first weekend of September, with tickets on sale now.

Known as one of Britain’s greatest songwriters of the last 15 years, Richard Hawley will headline the festival on Saturday, September 3.

He found success in the 1990s in indie band The Longpigs before starting a successful solo career.

    Singer and lead guitarist in rock band Gomez, Ben Ottewell will perform on the main stage on September 3, with former Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes headlining the main stage on September 4.
