William Alvey School dancers show the right moves

Primary School children from across Lincolnshire took part in the first ever True Motion Primary Fringe dance competition last week.

Primary School children from across Lincolnshire took part in the first ever True Motion Primary Fringe dance competition last week.

Groups from 11 schools performed in the final in front of a full house at the LPAC, Lincoln. Pupils from William Alvey School, Sleaford won with their routine based on The Emerald City from The Wizard of Oz.

Event co-ordinator Holly Arnold at artsNK, said: “The dancers from William Alvey School were well deserved winners for their routine which impressed the judges with its energy and originality.”
