Free, open event dedicated to history of employment in village near Boston
A free, open event is to be held near Boston next weekend dedicated to the history of employment in that part of the county.
Gosberton and District Local History Society presents Gosberton at Work at Gosberton Public Hall on Saturday, November 7, from 10am to 4pm.
The event will examine how members of the Gosberton community supported themselves and their families in the past, who employed them, and what they did to make ends meet in challenging times.
Featuring exhibits on local businesses and trades, it will offer insight into how people lived and worked in Gosberton, Clough and Risegate from the earliest to more recent times, the society says.
Refreshments will be available.
