A trio ain't too bad
At The Hoochie Coochie Club, Louth this coming weekend will be, The Too Bad Jims.

The Too Bad Jims, formed in January 2023, are a gritty country blues band based in the UK, featuring veteran musicians Little Victor and Son Jack Jr., along with Nick Simenon (brother of The Clash’ bassist Paul Simenon) on drums. Named after RL Burnside's album "Too Bad Jim," the three piece band plays a high-octane mix of North Mississippi Hill Country blues and boogie, delivering a raw and earthy sound reminiscent of southern juke joints.
Their debut album, "Over The Hill - A Tribute To RL Burnside," showcases their deep knowledge and passion for this style of music, with well-known to obscure songs from Burnside's repertoire.

The single "Miss Maybelle" from the album has received acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic, and their live performances are known for their energetic and hypnotic groove.
The Too Bad Jims continue to captivate audiences with their authentic and powerful performances, making them a standout act in the contemporary blues scene.
This really is a band not to be missed,.....and they're here at Louth Social Club, Queen St, Louth, Lincs LN11 9AU this coming Saturday 9th May.
