Activities team celebrates double finalist success at the Stars of Social Care Awards

Newton House is delighted to announce that its dedicated Activities Team has been named as finalists in two categories at the prestigious Stars of Social Care Awards.

The home’s Activities Team has been shortlisted for the Activities Coordinator of the Year Award, while Head of Activities, Karen Olivant has also been recognised as a finalist for the Delivery of Joy Award.

The Stars of Social Care Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and outstanding dedication within the social care sector, recognising individuals and teams who make a meaningful difference to the lives of others every day.

The team’s nomination reflects the compassion, creativity and enthusiasm they bring to residents through a wide range of engaging activities, special events and meaningful experiences designed to promote wellbeing, happiness and connection.

Staff, residents and families at the home are incredibly proud of the recognition and the positive impact the team continues to make within the home community.

The awards finals will take place on Saturday 13th June in London, where the team will join fellow finalists from across the country in celebrating excellence in social care.
