Ashbourne Day Nurseries Grantham achieves ‘strong standard’ in all areas in Ofsted inspection
Staff, children and families at Ashbourne Day Nurseries Grantham are celebrating after the nursery achieved a strong standard in all areas in its latest Ofsted inspection.

Inspectors praised the nursery across all key areas, including the quality of education, leadership and management, children’s personal development, and their behaviour and attitudes. The report highlights a consistently high quality environment where children are supported to make strong progress and develop the skills needed for their next stage of learning.
Ofsted noted that “children thrive in this nursery and are well prepared for their next stage of learning,” reflecting the positive everyday experiences and strong foundations being built within the setting.
The inspection also highlighted the warm, nurturing environment created by staff, along with the strong relationships developed with children and their families. Inspectors observed that children are encouraged to build confidence and independence, supported by engaging activities and high quality interactions that foster a genuine love of learning.
Nursery Manager Jessica Drakeford said: “We are incredibly proud to have achieved a strong standard in all areas. Creating a safe, inspiring and supportive environment where children can flourish is at the heart of everything we do, and it is wonderful to see this recognised. This outcome reflects the dedication of our entire team.”
The result reflects Ashbourne Day Nurseries Grantham’s ongoing commitment to delivering consistently high standards of early years education and care, as well as the strength of its partnerships with families across Grantham and the surrounding area.
The nursery would like to thank its staff, children and parents for their continued support in helping to achieve this outstanding result.
