Proceeds from the event will support two deserving local charities, Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (LNAA) and the Macmillan Cancer Support Centre in Lincoln.

Held at Lincoln Golf Club, Torksey, the popular event attracted 25 teams and received outstanding support from the local business community, with more than 30 organisations sponsoring the day.

After a day of competitive golf, Varley Orthopaedics Ltd claimed first place, followed by Bainland in second and Fisher Motor Factors in third.

The success of the event was made possible thanks to the generosity of sponsors, prize donors, volunteers and everyone who took part. Commenting on the day, Mark Bradshaw, Partner at Streets, said: “We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported this year’s Charity Golf Day. The generosity of our clients, business contacts, sponsors and volunteers was truly remarkable, helping us raise a record-breaking £8,531.46 for two exceptional local charities.

“It is always a pleasure to bring the business community together for a day of friendly competition and networking, but what makes the event so rewarding is knowing that, together, we are making a meaningful difference to organisations that provide vital support to people across our region.”

Zul Smart, Corporate ad Philanthropy Partnerships Manager at LNAA said, "On behalf of everyone at Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Streets for their continued support, generous £4,000 donation and for organising this fantastic charity golf day.

“Remarkably, this donation is equivalent to the cost of one lifesaving mission, helping our highly skilled crew deliver critical care to patients across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire when every second counts. As a charity that receives no government or NHS funding, we rely on the generosity of supporters such as Streets, and we are truly grateful for their commitment to helping keep our helicopter flying and our crews responding to emergencies across our communities."

Samantha Jones, Relationship Fundraising Manager, East Midlands at Macmillan Cancer Support added: “Macmillan Cancer Support would like to extend its sincere thanks to Streets for its incredibly generous donation of £4,250. Around 52,000 people are currently living with cancer in Lincolnshire, and donations like this help ensure that no one has to face cancer alone.

“This generous contribution could help support the Cancer Information and Support Team on the Macmillan Support Line, providing vital information, practical guidance and financial support to people affected by cancer when they need it most.

“Thank you, Streets, for your outstanding support of Macmillan Cancer Support in Lincolnshire and for helping us continue to be there for people living with cancer across the county.”

Golfers also competed in a range of individual challenges throughout the day, including Nearest the Pin, Straightest Drive, Beat the Pro, All Four Hit the Green and the Hole in One competition.

Over the past 13 years, Streets’ Charity Golf Day has raised more than £85,000 for local charities. The firm’s 14th Charity Golf Day will take place on Friday 2 July 2027 at Lincoln Golf Club, Torksey.
